COVID-19 Updates

At Buttermilk Falls Resort we are taking careful preventative measures to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 so that our guests can enjoy a safe and relaxing vacation. 

Cleaning

We have enhanced cleaning protocols and provide disinfection bottles in every cottage to be used around the resort and on the beach and at the fire pits. All cottages are self-contained with their own BBQ, and outdoor seating area; and there is lots of space on the property to practice safe social distancing.

Virtual Check-in

We have implemented a virtual check-in. 48 hours before your scheduled arrival we will bill your credit card on file for the balance of your stay (or request that you eTransfer the balance if that is your preferred payment method). When you arrive at the resort we ask that you text us and we will give you directions to your cottage. Your cottage will be unlocked and a key will be on the dining table. Additional keys are available upon request.

Check-in is at 3:00 pm. If you arrive early we cannot guarantee that your cottage will be ready.

During your stay only registered guests and resort staff may be on the property. If you have friends in the area, we ask that you meet them off the resort. Staff will only enter your cottage to resolve any issues, at your request and will wear a mask.

When shopping in the area please respect all stores requirements for social distancing and mask-wearing.
