We have a no pets policy from June 15-Sept 10th. Pets are more than welcome for the rest of the year.
Of course! Our water is artisanal water drawn from deep in the Canadian shield. Filtered and treated, delivered pure with no added chemicals to all of our cottages (and it tastes great too!).
The resort provides (for free) a selection of Canoes, Kayaks, Paddle Boats and Wake Boards for your enjoyment.
We do NOT provide any motorized watercraft, but we do have a lovely dock that you can tie up to if you bring your own watercraft. We can also recommend places to rent boats for you stay if you wish.
We believe that Buttermilk Falls Resort is a place to unplug and relax. As such there is no WiFi in the cottages. We do provide free WiFi on the front porch of the main house and cellular coverage is good everywhere on the resort.
Lake Boshkung is a great place to fish. During the winter months we have ice fishing (see our packages) in heated huts, when you can fish for Lake Trout, Pickerel, White Fish and Ling Cod. During the spring, summer and fall you can also catch Bass. Boshkung is a conservation lake so only one fishing line is permitted per licensed angler.
Trailered boats can be put in at the public launch on Little Boshkung Lake on Hwy 118 just west of Hwy 35. The resort does not have boat launch facilities.
