Availability & Bookings
The Right Cottage
At Buttermilk Falls Resort we have 9 unique cottages, and we work hard to ensure to book you into one that will help you enjoy your stay. For this it is often a good idea to give us a call and talk through what your needs are in terms of group size, sleeping arrangements and other requests. If more convenient, send us an email with as many details of the time and guests that are planning to stay with us and we will get back to you with options tailored to suit your stay.
Summer Bookings
During the summer months from late June through labour day weekend, all bookings are weekly with a Saturday afternoon check-in, and check-out the following Saturday morning. No pets.
Fall, Spring and Winter Bookings
Outside of the summer season, cottages can be booked for a minimum 2-night stay. If you are planning to visit, best to contact to us early to ensure your dates are available.
Weddings & Other Ceremonies
Weddings during May, June, September and October. Includes 2 nights stay, exclusive use of the resort, and accommodations for up to 53 people. Allows you to bring in a marquee, dance floor, caterer, etc. Cottages 1 through 9. $9,000.00+ HST
Summer Rebooking Policy
Guests at the resort during the summer are given the first option to reserve the same cottage, during the same week, the following year*. Guests may also request a different cottage and/or different week and we will try to accommodate their request.
In January, guests are required to confirm their reservation by providing a deposit. Cottages that are not confirmed become available for booking.
For this reason, we cannot take new bookings for the following summer until after the current summer is complete and/or until after returning guests have had time to confirm their reservation. Most years we will have some confirmed availability as of October, and the rest as of early February.
*While we prefer to welcome both new guests and those returning to the resort, Buttermilk Falls Resort may refuse any booking or rebooking requests at its discretion.
