We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Buttermilk resort. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectation. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The space was beautiful and had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect, with a beautiful waterfall. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend buttermilk resort and their property highly enough. Thank you Meagan and Stephen for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back!

We went for an ice fishing this weekend. Due to the warm weather we decided not to attempt fishing The owner still put up a tent for us just in case. We still had a great time cottage had lots of room and the 8 of us were comfortable..The guys in the cottage next to us went out fishing but did not catch anything. So we were glad we didn't go out. I would recommend this place for a boys weekend or a family weekend for sure.

A perfect central experience for Haliburton. Located on gorgeous Boshkung Lake, 5 minutes from Carnarvon and filled with its own charm and beautiful local trails. Steven and Meghan are fantastic hosts and each cabin is charming and the entire resort is 4 seasons. I can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic time, relaxing, very accommodating and helpful host who will go out of their way to help and make sure you enjoy your time. I will be back. I will recommend to everyone that it is the spot to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Nice little true rustic cottages equipped with everything you need, with continuous upgrading to cottages and the resort. Hiking trails, paddle boards, water trampoline, kayaks, volley ball court, shallow water sand beach to a nice drop off, fishing, the list goes on and on. They truly care. During my time my boat's motor had a mechanical issue and they were there to help with whatever I needed, tools, knowledge of a close by marine shop less than I mile away and even letting me use their personal motor to get me back across the lake to the boat ramp. Very appreciated, above and beyond.

We just had our wedding at Buttermilk Falls Resort this past weekend. Meghan and Stephen were incredibly helpful with recommendations for vendors, equipment and other unique suggestions. We were able to have our entire group stay on site! The beach was clean, well stocked with kayaks and canoes to venture out in. The fire pit was a highlight! Big enough to have 15 plus sitting around. Amazing space, very private and beautiful views! Thanks again for a picture perfect weekend!
