Buttermilk Falls is a truly magical resort. A short drive from Minden, Dorset or Haliburton, it sits alongside 800ft of whitewater at the north end of Lake Boshkung. With almost 200ft of sandy beach and a spacious resort, our nine cottages provide an ideal place to Sit Back & Relax. Discover the Highlands with hundreds of kilometres of trails for all interests, local artisans and brewers. Buttermilk Falls is the perfect location for families, couples and group getaways.

Four Season Resort

Enjoy week long stays with your family through the summer months. Enjoy the fall colours, or just enjoy a weekend SPA getaway or bring the ATV and hit the trails. We specialize in Ice Fishing experiences in the winter months and offer excellent early season fishing starting in May.

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed including a hot tub! Fishing was great and fresh lake trout baked in butter is incredible.
